Hong Liu

  Hong Liu, doctor of engineering, professor of Peking University, doctoral tutor. Prof. Liu is one of the first batch of leading talents in scientific and technological innovation of the National Leading Talents, a member of the overall expert group of "Intelligent Robot" of the National Key Research and Development Program of the Ministry of Science and Technology, the vice chairman of the Chinese Society for Artificial Intelligence, and a member of the 6th Shenzhen Municipal Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference.

  Professor Liu has long been engaged in teaching and scientific research in the fields of computer vision and intelligent robots, machine learning and intelligent human robot interaction. He has studied under academician Hegao Cai, academician Xuan Wang, academician Qingyun Shi and other well-known experts. He has visited many famous universities and research institutions in the United States, Canada, Japan and Singapore for many times.

  He has undertaken more than 20 national-level important scientific research projects, including 863 projects, 973 projects, national key R&D projects, new-generation artificial intelligence major projects and key projects of the National Natural Science Foundation of China. He has published more than 200 academic papers, and his research results in recent years have been cited more than 5,000 times by domestic and foreign peer research institutions. He has won the National Aerospace Science and Technology Progress Award, Wu Wenjun Artificial Intelligence Science and Technology Award, Geneva International Invention Fair Award, Peking University Teaching Excellence Award, Antai Award, and Peking University "Top Ten Teachers" candidate.

  As the first national leading talents in Shenzhen's education sector, Professor Liu Hong's research features focus on "robot visual perception and autonomous learning". For more than 20 years, he has focused on the AI ​​and robotics he loves, and has trained more than 100 master and doctoral students and postdoctoral fellows. He is an active advocate of the new discipline construction of "Intelligent Science and Technology" in my country, and a leader in scientific and technological innovation in the field of intelligent robots.
