Graduate Xia Li returns to the laboratory for communication

 On December 9, 2022, graduate Li Xia returned to the laboratory for academic exchanges and gave a report on "Proton Therapy". Proton therapy is a very important research direction, which refers to the precise treatment of malignant tumors with high-energy protons. This treatment allows for more precise delivery of radiation, and it does less damage to surrounding healthy tissue more effectively than conventional radiation therapy. This therapeutic approach has made great progress in the past few years and has been widely used in the treatment of malignant tumors. The report shared the cutting-edge application of AI in proton therapy. After the sharing, the students in the laboratory actively asked questions and had a full exchange. The whole report broadened the horizons of the students and brought a lot of inspiration to the research work.
